Professor Hübner supports European regions Meeting of Members of the European Parliament with regional representatives about future cohesion policy, 07 maja 2010

On 6 May Professor Danuta Hübner organised for the second time this year a meeting between Members of the REGI Committee in the European Parliament representing the main political groups and representatives of regions from all over Europe. The delegates represented the regions from CPMR (Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions), Austria, Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, UK, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. Representatives of the regions discussed the need to cover entire European territory with future cohesion policy and to strike the right balance between the cohesion policy and Europe 2020. Future cooperation between REGI Committee and ROTOPI (Round Table of Practitioners in Implementation) was also discussed.
